FREE - Restoration project - Dawes Galaxy + M Steel 'taggy bike'

25½" Galaxy frame, powder coated vitreous enamel finish, applied when bike was rebuilt from scratch in late 1970s. Bike well used until early 2000s, since then has hung in shed. Alloy seat post is well and truly stuck in the seat post, so will require some effort/knowledge to remove; tyres are only fit for the bin.

'M Steel' 'taggy-bike' is an interesting bit of cycling engineering, with a finely milled linkage that works well. The head tube badge simply says 'M Steel Gosforth'—I know nothing more about it.

I'm not going to pretend that this would be anything other than a labour of love for two bikes that have seen many miles, and probably have many more in them—for anyone interested in cycling from a certain era. I am retiring and downsizing. There will still be bikes in use here, but these two need to go, hopefully to a good home, so the only cost is collecting them and getting them back on the road (the nominal penny is required by the site).
