Description

I have for sale a like new kinesis sync ti 29er medium frame (18" i believe) in a raw finish. It comes with a cane creek 40 headset and a praxxis pf30 to 24mm bottom bracket. The ride is really comfortable, felt nimble and climbed great. It served me well at my local, cannock chase and when I did bike park wales a couple of times.

Machined taper 1.5” Head tube

Top tube, Internal gear-cable routing.

Dropper post guides.

142 x 12 DT Swiss Thru-axle

Kinesis Sync mountain bike frames are designed for trail riding and single track with an aggressive edge. The Kinesis Sync works best with a 120mm travel fork.

Both bearings are ‘ACB’, meaning ‘Angular Contact Bearings’. The head-tube seat angle is 45º. The headset drops into a tapered seat in the head tube and is tensioned using a headset tensioner within the fork steerer. Tensioning the headset centres it on the taper and prevents any play. The larger lower bearing allows a tapered steerer and larger crown. This gives sharper response and helps reduce flex under braking.

FORK RECOMMENDATION: 100 – 130mm)

TAPER HEAD TUBE: Machined from Ti billet. The 1.5″ lower bearing allows a tapered fork steerer and larger crown. This gives sharper response and helps reduce flex under braking. Increased head tube dia. gives more weld area at the most highly stressed point.

DIRECT-MOUNT COMPATIBLE: The investment-cast Ti dropouts on the SYNC frame come as standard with an integrated mech. hanger. If you are running a Shimano ‘Shadow’ mech, then you can upgrade to the optional ‘Direct-Mount’ hanger, lose the ‘B2′ link from your mech. and experience super slick shifting! READ MORE HERE. http://www.kinesisbikes.co.uk/direct-mount-rear-mech-option-for-maxlight-sync/ .

Ti3AL/2.5V: An aerospace grade alloy, 94% titanium, 3% aluminium and 2.5% vanadium. This is one of the strongest alloys of titanium available in a seamless tube form.

CWSR: ‘Cold Worked Stress Relieved’ tubing. The tubing is shaped cold and then goes through a process to remove the stresses built up within the tube during forming.

PF30: ‘Press-Fit 30′ compatible bottom-bracket shell. This BB standard uses 42mmø bearings, pre-installed in Nylon bearing cups, these cups are then pressed into the frames BB shell. This avoids the ‘metal to metal’ contact of other BB standards. The bearing internal diameter suits cranks with a 30mm axle, but other cranks can be fitted using aftermarket adaptors e.g. Praxis. The ‘PF30′ standard also allows the use of ‘eccentric BB adaptors’ if you want to convert to Single-Speed.

142×12 THRU-AXLE: The thru-axle really adds lateral stiffness to the rear of the frame, meaning it responds instantly to rider input and climbs and tracks impeccably.

QUADRAD TOP TUBE: The unique profiling to the rear section of the Top-Tube adds strength and stiffness to this highly stressed part of the frame.

INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING: The control cables are routed through the Top-Tube, keeping it un-cluttered and making way for clean dropper-post routing.
